Dual Extension (for 2 MagBound® locks)

A synchronization module for dual MagBound® control.

The MagBound® Dual Extension allows you to operate two MagBound® locks using a single Smart Timer or Retro Timer. By synchronizing both locks, they can close and open at the same time, enabling coordinated restraint configurations.

The system requires two power sources, as one power bank alone is not sufficient to operate two locks. This setup increases overall safety: if one power source fails or runs out of power, the integrated circuit detects the interruption and automatically releases both locks.

Depending on your configuration, you can connect:

• Two separate power banks, with both locks opening as soon as one power source goes offline.

• One direct power bank and one timer-connected power bank, causing the locks to open either when the set time expires or when one power source runs out.

Designed and assembled in our Berlin studio, the Dual Extension expands the modular MagBound® ecosystem while maintaining its safety logic.
