A synchronization module for dual MagBound® control.

The MagBound® Dual Extension allows you to operate two MagBound® locks from a single Smart Timer or Retro Timer. Both locks close and open at the same time, enabling coordinated restraint configurations.

  • Input 1 (MASTER): This input controls both outputs. Your timer must always be connected here. When power at Input 1 is cut — by the timer, by a drained power bank, or by unplugging — both locks release immediately.
  • Input 2 (power supply only): This input supplies the additional power needed to drive two locks. It has no switching function. If power at Input 2 is lost, the locks stay closed as long as Input 1 is powered.

Never connect your timer to Input 2. If you do, the locks will not release when the timer switches off. Two power sources are required, as a single power bank cannot drive two locks.

Designed and assembled in our Berlin studio, the Dual Extension expands the modular MagBound® ecosystem while maintaining its safety logic.
