Remote Light Software (for MagBound® Smart Timer)

The Remote Light software add-on transforms the MagBound® Smart Timer into a live remote control system. It allows you to actively control your partner’s locking time from afar during an ongoing session.

Once connected via remote desktop software, you can adjust the remaining time in real time while the lock stays engaged. This creates a new dynamic of distance-based control, where timing decisions are no longer fixed at the start of the session.

During an active session, you can:

• Increase time by 5 minutes
• Decrease time by 5 minutes
• Increase time by 1 hour
• Decrease time by 1 hour
• Pause the timer while the lock remains closed
• Reset the timer to trigger release

All adjustments keep the lock securely closed unless you actively reset it.

To use this feature, remote desktop or screen-sharing software such as Zoom, TeamViewer, Microsoft Teams, or similar tools is required. You will operate the Smart Timer directly through your partner’s device while maintaining live audio and video communication. This enables immediate feedback, supervision, and intentional control throughout the entire session.

This update introduces a new level of interactive control within the MagBound® ecosystem, turning distance into a structured and technically integrated power exchange.

Safety note: Always dimension the power source so that automatic release is guaranteed after a defined maximum runtime. In case of internet interruption or software failure, remote control will no longer be possible. Emergency access and a secondary safety plan must always be in place.
